Organization & Administration

TIACA is truly global in scope and outlook. Its members represent all geographical regions of the world.  The Association is governed by its Trustee members, which represent many of the world's major companies in the air cargo industry. The Trustees in turn elect the Board of Directors to manage the organization's affairs and establish its policy.The Board of Directors directs and administers the organization, manages the committee structure and exercises executive authority over the International Air Cargo Forum and Exhibition. The Association has four officers; the Chairman, Vice Chairman, Treasurer and Secretary General who are elected by the Board of Directors for two year terms. The Board of Directors, which is elected by the Voting Members to four year terms has a maximum of 16 members. TIACA's Secretariat is located in Miami, Florida USA, and is responsible for global operations and communications, and ongoing daily administration of the Association.TIACA accomplishes much of its work through an active committee structure which oversees policy and performance in several service areas. TIACA's active committees are; Compensation, Chairman's Council, Education & Research, Events and Business Development, Finance, Industry Affairs, Membership Engagement and Nominations.
