With the aim to help industry comply with the ACC3 regulations, IATA has spent the last few months developing the Centre of Excellence Independent Validators (CEIV) database for RA3 and KC3, also called the CEIV Directory.
The CEIV Directory provides a central location where interested stakeholders can see a list of those RA3s and KC3s who have been accredited in accordance with the requirements of EU185/2010.
The access to the IATA CEIV Directory is a ‘public’, complementary, ‘value added’ service offered to:
- EU accredited Independent Validators who have accredited RA3 and KC3 entities in compliance with the EU185/2010
- Regulated Agents
- Known Consignors
Visibility and clarity of independently validated RA3s and KC3s transporting cargo into the Europe from third countries is enormous.
The CEIV Directory also offers assurance to carriers that their customers are compliant with EU legislation.
We encourage you to invite your Independent Validators (IVs) to populate this new database with the appropriate details.
