AGM SAIL ALERT

Welcome to the AGM Sail Alert!

The purpose of the AGM Sail Alert is to provide you with as much information as possible as you prepare for the TIACA Annual General Meeting & Air Cargo Executive Conference 2002 and the Majesty of the Seas.

We are delighted to confirm the participation of Congressman John L. Mica, Chairman of the Aviation Sub Committee, U.S. House of Representatives as a speaker at the TIACA Air Cargo Executive Conference on Saturday, January 12, 2002. I am sure everyone will be very interested in the security information he will be sharing.

Passports and Visas
Passports and visas are a very important issue when traveling. To find out if you need a visa for the Bahamas you can visit their website: http://www.bahamas.com/travel_tips/visa_entry/visa_passport.htm?link_ref=2.

Currency and On Board Purchases
Foreign currency can be exchanged upon arrival at Miami International Airport on the 2nd level throughout the terminal. Royal Caribbean will not cash personal checks on board unless the account is with a U.S. bank and only one personal check can be cashed during the cruise. Those with American Express cards are limited to $250 in cash. The Purser's Desk can cash travelers checks and provide foreign money exchange.

For on board purchases, Majesty of the Seas uses what is known as the SuperCharge System. The Cruise Card is issued to you upon boarding. This card allows you to charge all onboard expenditures with the exception of those that require cash such as gratuities (other than bar service), foreign currency exchange and casino gambling. Upon check-in you will present your credit card to the receptionist for processing, at the end of the cruise your credit card will be billed automatically. You can review your onboard charges on a daily basis or view the entire bill on the last night of your cruise. Those cards accepted are: American Express, Carte Blanche, Diners Club International, Optima, Master Card and Visa.

Transportation
Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines will provide bus service to the Port of Miami for attendees arriving at Miami International Airport on January 11th (departure day) and/or from the Port of Miami to Miami International Airport on January 14th (return day). The charge is $11 one-way and $21 round trip. If you wish to have this service contact Louise Gross at lgtravels@yahoo.com and provide her with the name of the airline, flight number, flight arrival. If you wish to take a taxi or Supper Shuttle go to terminal first level (baggage claim) and at curbside you will find a Starter booth. The Starter will call for your transportation. The fee for a taxi from the airport to the seaport is $18.75 and Supper Shuttle's fee is $9.00 per person.
