Hall of Fame
Nomination Criteria
Please read the criteria below before making your nomination:
1) All individuals
involved in the air cargo business are eligible to nominate persons for
the Hall of Fame.
2) Nominations should
not be based on a nominee's role within TIACA, but on other business and
industry achievements. No current member of TIACA's Board of Directors
or staff will be considered.
3) All members of
the air cargo industry, past or present, are eligible for nomination.
4) Successful candidates
will be those who have made a special contribution to air cargo in some
specialised area and/or to the business in general, over a period of years.
5) Self-nominations
or nominations of related parties will not be accepted.
6) Nominations must
be made on the nominations form available on the TIACA website or from
the Secretariat. Incomplete nomination forms will not be accepted.
7) Nominations for
each year's Hall of Fame must be received by October 31, but may be tendered
at any time during the year up to that date.
8) The decision reached
by the Chairman’s Council shall be final.
9) The Chairman’s
Council is under no obligation to make an award should no truly qualified
individual be nominated. However, it can appoint more than one individual
to be inducted in any one session.
10) The awardee(s) will be announced at TIACA's Executive Conference and
Annual General Meeting each year.
11) The International
Air Cargo Association (TIACA) does not accept any liability for loss or
damage arising from any comments or opinions expressed orally or in writing
in connection with the Hall of Fame Award.
