1. The applicant
must be a trustee member, or agree to become a trustee member, of The
International Air Cargo Association.
2. The applicant
must provide the Association with guarantees that adequate facilities
and access to discounted air transportation and hotel accommodations
will be available for delegates and exhibitors at the proposed event.
3. At least five
years in advance of target date, the prospective host must complete
and submit the ACF Host Application as part of its formal, written application
to TIACA for consideration as the site for an International Air Cargo
Forum and Exposition in the world region designated for that year's
event.
4. The applicant
must make an audio/visual and/or formal presentation to the Association’s
Site Selection Committee illustrating their site's facilities and how
they will meet the Association's site selection criteria and support
the Association's objectives.
5. The applicant
must agree to underwrite any costs incurred in competing for the site
selection award, making the necessary presentations and hosting the
site selection committee's visit to the venue on any inspection tour
of the proposed site's facilities.
6. Form a Host Committee
to provide a liaison between the site and TIACA with the primary role
of securing strong support for the ACF through local and regional sponsorship
of events, meals and breaks, publicity, attendance, airline discounts
and government cooperation.
