Julian Hansen is Chairman of the Technology Asset Protection Association
– Europe, Middle East and Africa (TAPA EMEA) and the Intel Corporation’s
Regional Security Manager for Europe, the Middle East and Africa. He joined
Intel in 1997 after 26 years in UK government service. His responsibilities
for Intel include the security of Intel freight in transit and the investigation
of crime against the company, including freight theft. He was a founding
member of TAPA in Europe in 1999 and has served as its Chairman for three
years. TAPA EMEA was conceived and designed by its members to facilitate
the availability and flow of information on crimes against high technology
logistics chains. In addition to TAPA EMEA, there are associated TAPA organizations
in Asia and the U.S.
