The Sun is Rising
- The past 30 months have been unsettling for commercial aviation, in general, and air cargo, in particular. The tech bust, a prolonged global economic downturn, 9/11, terrorism, SARS and the Iraq war clobbered the industry. Increased cargo security measures (many of them not yet fully fleshed out) have slowed and sometimes disrupted aviation-based supply chains, weakening the competitive advantage firms gained through speed and agility.
