Unique Consignment Referencing
In June 2001 the World Customs Organisation passed a Recommendation, inviting member administrations to “adopt and implement” a thirty-five digit unique identifier “ for all international, trade transactions”, and to require this to be “reported to Customs at any point during a Customs procedure“.

TIACA’s President’s Council is pleased to announce the selection of Pyotr Vassilievich Balabuyev, President, General Designer of the Antonov Design Bureau and Eric Campaña former president of Lan Chile Airlines and current advocate of air cargo development, to receive The International Air Cargo Association’s 2003 Hall of Fame Award.
