The Nordic cargo markets: Denmark took the lead in Q1
- May 13, 2008 (newstodate): This year's Q1 IATA export cargo performance in the Nordic markets showed significant differences, with the Danish market emerging as the front-runner.
The Danish market that grew by 15.8 percent in 2007 continued a significant growth trend, increasing 10-11 percent, y-o-y, in volumes during January-March, 2008.
The Norwegian market grew by 27.4 percent in 2007, but shrank 3-5 percent, y-o-y, during this year's Q1.

Moscow Sheremetyevo Airport #1 in cargo, 2007
- May 15, 2008 (newstodate): Russia's Moscow Sheremetyevo Airport saw its cargo traffic increasing steeply in 2007.
The airport handled a total of 154,740 tonnes of cargo, increasing 12.7 percent on the preceding year.
Moscow's second largest airport in cargo volumes was Domodedovo Airport that handled a total of 113,743 tonnes of cargo, increasing 6.1 percent, y-o-y.
