Belgian cargo handling group targetting Scandinavia
- Apr 14, 2008 (newstodate): Belgian ground and cargo handling group Aviapartner has identified Scandinavia as an important growth market for cargo handling operations.
Without further specification, Aviapartner's new ceo Peter Oosterenk told the Belgian trade press that new acquisitions are to be finalised this year already.

Ban looming on use of Soviet aircraft by EU carriers
- Apr 16, 2008 (newstodate): If the EU commission follows the recommendations of EASA, a total ban on operations of all Soviet-built aircraft by EU carriers may be expected.
Already in September, 2003, the EU commission laid down that any EU carrier use only aircraft certified by EASA, granting a two-year grace period that was since prolonged before it finally expired on March 28, 2008.
