US pols ask GAO to review 100 pct air cargo screen
- WASHINGTON, Feb 4 (WorldACD) — With a keen eye on the steps being taken to ensure the 100 percent screening of air cargo on passenger planes, politicians are asking the Government Accountability Office (GAO) to review the 100 percent cargo screening requirement on passenger planes by 2010.
This was outlined in “H.R. 1 Implementing Recommendations of the 9/11 Commission Act of 2007,” which was passed last August and signed into law by President Bush.

Malaysia's new customs rules to boost trade flow
- PETALING JAYA, Feb 6 (WorldACD) - The Customs Golden Client (CGC) programme adopted by the Royal Customs Department will help enhance the business efficiency of importers and exporters, Bernama reported, citing Deputy Finance Minister Datuk Dr Ng Yen Yen.
This is because, she said, the programme will expedite customs formalities like registration of declaration forms, inspection and collection of duties, bringing this down to 15 minutes from 13 hours previously.

NWA, Delta merger reportedly looms
