Beijing - Finland's top cargo destination in January 2008
Apr 28, 2008 (newstodate): In January, 2008, Beijing was #1 among Finlands top-30 IATA export cargo destinations.
In total shipments for Beijing totalled 385 tonnes, up 12.1 percent, y-o-y.
Shanghai came second with 281 tonnes, growing more modestly by 2.6 percent, and Seoul came third with 180 tonnes, up 69.7 percent.
Chicago came 4th with 149 tonnes, dropping 28.7 percent, followed by Busan that grew 971 percent to 105 tonnes.
Hong Kong came 6th with 100 tonnes, down 4.1 percent, followed by Tokyo, down 8.6 percent to 77 tonnes.
Destinations Dubai and Singapore fell the most during January, down 60 and 61 percent to 75 and 49 tonnes, respectively.
