Apr 7, 2008 (newstodate): Among the first moves by the Kosovo government are plans for privatisation of Pristina International Airport.
The decision reflects the need to attract foreign investments into the airport, either through direct sale or through the granting of concessions to run and manage the airport.
Pristina International Airport has a 2,500 m runway and served a total of 1.1 mio passenger in 2007, an increase by 12 percent.
