Russia's strategic airports listed

Mar 26, 2008 (newstodate): A decree signed by the Russian prime minister on March 21, 2008, has listed the 52 Russian airports of strategic importance.
As strategic airports they will qualify for state ownership and financing of future projects and developments.
The airports are: Abakan, Anadyr, Anapa, Arkhangelsk, Blagoveshchenk, Vladivostok, Volgograd, Yekaterinburg, Zhigansk, Irkutsk, Kazan, Kaliningrad, Krasnodar, Kurumoch, Kyzyl, Magadan, Makhachkala, Mineralnye Vody, Moscow Vnukovo, Moscow Domodedovo, Moscow Sheremetyevo, Murmansk, Naryan-Mar, Nizhny Novgorod, Novosibirsk, Novy Urengoy, Norilsk, Omsk, Okhotsk, Pevek, Perm, Petropavlovsk-Kamchatka, Rostov-on-Don, Samara, Salekhard, Sochi, Surgut, Tiksi, Tilichiki, Tomsk, Tynda, Tyumen, Ulan-Ude, Ust-Nera, Khabarovsk, Khatanga, Chelyabinsk, Chita, Chokurdakh, Yuzhno Sakhalinsk and Yakutsk.
