Kazakh airline sees growing business in Turkish market

Jan 31, 2008 (newstodate): Taking effect from the start of this summer's schedule, the Kazakh airline Air Astana plans to expand its services to Turkey.
News include a route between Aktau and Istanbul Ataturk Airport, to be served twice weekly with Airbus Airbus A320 aircraft and driven by demands among the many Turkish construction companies active in the region.
In this summer program, Air Astana will provide a total of 14 weekly flights to Istanbul Ataturk Airport, including a daily flight from Almaty, three weekly flights from Atyrau, two weekly flights from Astana, and two weekly flights from Aktau.
