Competition: more airlines fly more to Israel

Jan 24, 2008 (newstodate): Israel is seeing increasing competition among airlines operating in the market.
The number of airlines operating scheduled flights to and from Israel increased from 33 in 2005 to 36 in 2006, and reaching 38 in 2007.
Also the airlines operating scheduled servicse to Israel have increased frequencies and aircraft size.
Among these in 2007 were Tarom, Turkish Airlines, Malev and Transaero.
