Jan 15, 2008 (newstodate): Kazakhstan's Air Astana has signed a LOI for the firm order of six Airbus A320 family and three Boeing 787-8 aircraft, with deliveries to start from 2012.
The Air Astana board's decision also comprises taking options for a further three of each aircraft type.
The carrier's Strategic Business Plan includes a fleet expansion from today's 18 aircraft and 34 aircraft in 2015 to 63 aircraft in 2022.
