Swedish Cargo Center: 2007 was a good year

Jan 7, 2008 (newstodate): 2007 was a good year for Sweden's Cargo Center at Stockholm Arlanda Airport.
Total cargo volumes handled reached just below 100,000 tonnes, up about 60 percent, y-o-y.
-Our road trucking company, SACT, performed very well, too, not least prompted by our set-up at WFS, Copenhagen Airport that has spurred a very promising cooperation, says Lars Keding, Cargo Center managing director.
-Early in 2008 we will establish ourselves at Helsinki, Finland, and an office at Gothenburg Landvetter Airport will be opened during the first three months of 2008.
-These latest additions will enhance control over all transports and terminals in the Nordic markets, and next in the pipeline are plans for expansion into the Norwegian and Baltic markets as well, says mr Keding.
-We are doing very well at Stockholm Arlanda, too, and expect the airlines there to add in frequencies during 2008. Also Norrkoping has seen a sustained growth in volumes, driven by Icelandair Cargo's traffic, and plan for further growth there as well.
