NATO seeking Ukrainean uplift capacity in Afghanistan

Nov 23, 2007 (newstodate): NATO is currently negotiating with Ukrainean carriers for lease of helicopters to be used in Afghanistan.
Plans are to lease 20 Mi-17 and several heavy Mi-26 helicopters to relieve the stress on NATO's own transportation and logistics services.
