TREND - Moderate growth in freight in Sept – ACI
GENEVA, Nov 13 (WorldACD) - Airports Council International (ACI) said total freight handled worldwide rose by 2.2 percent in September on the corresponding month last year.
International freight “progressed steadily,” increasing by 4.7 percent, with the exception of North America ( -4.9 percent) but domestic markets fell by 2.8 percent with all regions reporting negative results, ACI said.
Total freight for the year-to-date grew by 3.4 percent on January-September 2006.
