Aerosvit: cargo growth accelerating in 2007
Oct 19, 2007 (newstodate): The Ukrainean carrier Aerosvit is experiencing a steady growth in air cargo and mail volumes in 2007.
In September the volumes carried were 1,300 tonnes, up 110 percent, y-o-y.
During January-September volumes totalled 8,400 tonnes, up 68 percent on last year.
During the first half year 2007 the growth rate was 49 percent, to 4,800 tonnes, so the expansion has been accelerated.
In 2003 the carrier's cargo and mail volumes were 2,496 tonnes, rising to 5,549 tonnes in 2004.
