Rising cargo volumes at Copenhagen Airport
Aug 31, 2007 (newstodate): The latest available statistics from Copenhagen Airport show an 11.6 percent increase in total cargo volumes in May, 2007.
The 33,487 tonnes of cargo comprise imports, 4,227 tonnes and up 16.8 percent, exports, 4,895 tonnes and up 32 percent, and transfer cargo, 24,365 tonnes and up 7.5 percent.
During the first five months of 2007 the airport generated a total of 165,416 tonnes of cargo after a growth by 8.8 percent, including 20,562 tonnes of imports, up 13.3 percent, 23,727 tonnes of exports, up 27.9 percent, and 118,217 tonnes of transfer cargo, up 4.7 percent.
