Russian airport seeks German consultancy

Aug 10, 2007 (newstodate): Russia's Kemerovo Airport has contracted Lufthansa Consulting to help design its future potentials.
Kemerovo Airport, serving Kemerovo, an industrial city in Russia, situated on the Tom River, east-northeast of Novosibirsk, is fighting to secure its status as an international airport despite its proximity to competitors in Novosibirsk and Krasnojarsk.
The airport estimates a scenario in 2027 comprising 870,000 passengers against 347,000 this year, and about 11,000 tonnes of cargo comparted to 2,400 tonnes in 2007.
Lufthansa Consulting has now developed three alternative business models for the airport's future development.
