Moldovan airlines won victory in fight over lost AOCs
Jul 31, 2007 (newstodate): Moldova's Supreme Court of Justice has overturned the order by the State Civil Aviation Administration regarding the withdrawal of the AOCs of seven Moldovan cargo airlines.
Due to alleged non-conformance with EU air safety regulations, the administration on June 21 cancelled the AOCs of Aeroportul International Marculesti, Grixona, Jet Line International, Jet Stream, Tiramavia, Pecotox-Air, and Valan International Cargo Charter.
The seven airlines took the issue to the court that found the administration's conclusions reached without physical inspections invalid.
