Delta Air Lines Returns to Halifax Stanfield

Delta Air Lines resumes Halifax service to three US destinations this summer, with the first to New York starting tomorrow, May 26, 2012.

“We are very pleased to welcome Delta Air Lines back to our community,” says Jerry Staples, HIAA Vice President, Marketing & Business Development. “The return of Delta is great news for both business and leisure travellers with more options, more choice, and direct access to other key U.S. markets and major airline hubs,” he says.

Delta’s schedule to Halifax Stanfield International Airport is as follows:

New York (JFK) – May 26 to July 10

  • 7 days a week service
  • 50-seat ERJ-E145 regional jet

New York (La Guardia) – starting July 11

  • year-round twice-daily service 
  • 50-seat ERJ-E145 regional jet

Detroit, Michigan – June 6 to October 31 (summer season)

  • 7 days a week service
  • 70-seat CRJ-700 regional jet

Atlanta, Georgia – June 30 to September 1 (summer season)

  • weekly service on Saturdays
  • 76-seat CRJ-900 regional jet
