Forwarder offers door-to-door

The freight forwarding division of logistics services giant Norbert Dentressangle has launched Red Sky Connect, a door-to-door air freight delivery offering.

Initially, it will be available on routes connecting China to Europe and the Americas, from Latin America to Europe and the US, and from the US to Europe.

Further routes are expected to be added as the forwarder�s overseas network grows.

Norbert Dentressangle is offering supplier consolidation at origin, Customs management and daily direct and indirect flights.

For European destinations, it will also provide onward distribution through its road transport network, offering a door-to-door service.Norbert Dentressangle has arranged block space agreements with major cargo carriers and has its own consolidation facilities at major points of origin.

Dave Barron, global commercial director of Norbert Dentressangle Overseas, said: "The launch of the new service is part of our strategy ... to support our clients in their key markets."
