Local sales appointment as Virgin Atlantic Cargo gets ready for Chicago return

In preparation for the return of flights from Chicago in May, Virgin Atlantic Cargo has appointed Rhett Stutler as Account Manager, Commercial for Chicago and the Midwest region of the United States.

Reporting to Marie Epstein, Regional Vice President –Sales, Americas, Rhett has joined Virgin Atlantic from Hermes Aviation where, as an Account Manager, he was the general sales agent’s representative for South African Airways and Turkish Airlines. He began his career with Delta Air Lines, working in Cincinnati, Boston and Milwaukee. 

Virgin Atlantic will recommence flights between Chicago and London Heathrow on May 7th with four flights a week, increasing to daily from May 18th. 

Marie Epstein said: “We welcome Rhett to our sales team in the Americas. The Chicago market is tremendous and is an essential gateway for freight forwarders’ Midwest operations. Rhett in based in Chicago and will work closely with our local customers to ensure they gain maximum benefit from our award-winning cargo services. Using an Airbus A340-600 between Chicago and London is a great plus for us given its excellent cargo capacity and will bring much-needed additional space onto the route.”
