The International Air Cargo Association

11/08/2011

TIACA is sad to announce that John Raven, who recently retired as the Association’s Adviser in Brussels, has passed away.

John was a passionate advocate of global customs modernization and trade facilitation and through this work had earned the highest level of respect from both regulatory bodies and business leaders. Over the past 10 years, he has given TIACA members a powerful insight into the world of customs processes and trade facilitation. He represented TIACA in Brussels and was a regular contributor of informative and thought-provoking papers to the Association’s Board and committees as well as being a valued editorial writer for TIACA Times.

He will be sadly missed for his unique contribution to our Association and for his high standard of work and personal values. TIACA expresses its deepest sympathy to John’s family.
