New broker dedicated to cargo agents

Neo Air Charter is a new broker based in Germany's biggest freight market, Frankfurt, that is promising to deal only with the freight forwarder community.

According to company founder Adrian Duran, the company believes it has something a little different than other brokers to offer its customers.

"With the launch of Neo Air Charter, we have fully recognised and respect the role of the freight agent as an essential link in the supply chain," he says.

"For that reason, we will only accept enquiries and instructions from freight forwarders and logistics intermediaries," Duran explained. "We believe that this is a unique proposition in air charter."

Neo Air Charter - which he claims has "solid financial backing" - is already fully operational and has arranged a number of charters for various cargo agents.

It expects to serve all charter markets, including automotive relief aid, ships' spares, aircraft-on-ground emergencies, military, projects, oil and gas and livestock.

"We can handle any kind of business, for any type of aircraft from a single-engine Cessna to the giant AN-225 aircraft, to or from anywhere in the world," Duran said.

"Our offices and those of our partners are manned around the clock, so time differences will present no problems.

"But, above all, we believe that it is our promise of commercial neutrality that will really win the support of freight agents," he considers.

Duran added that while the efforts of the new company are already being "supported by a highly experienced team of experts in aviation, air freight and chartering", there are plans in hand to further expand the staff complement at Neo - with more senior appointments expected soon.

"The charter business is more than anything about people, and we feel we have the best," Duran claimed.

Other plans for the latest entrant to the busy charter broker market include Neo opening new branches "at other strategic gateways around the world", he said.

Already boasting service partners in the US and Singapore, Duran is also forecasting adding new service partners elsewhere in the coming months.
