Cranleigh lands Virgin truck deal

Virgin Atlantic Cargo has appointed Cranleigh Freight Services to provide daily air cargo road feeder services from Amsterdam to its UK hubs at London Heathrow and Gatwick airports on a three-year contract.

Graham Young, joint managing director Cranleigh Freight Services, said the deal "shows the strength and depth of the airline services we offer".

Kevin Hillyard, vice president cargo operations EMEA at Virgin, added: "We put Cranleigh Freight through a rigorous tender process... The team at Cranleigh have a proven track record of air freight transport services between Amsterdam and London and share our ethos of high-quality service delivery."
